About

From its debut in 1986, Shaw Boxing has remained one of Toronto’s most anticipated networking and fundraising events, drawing more than 600 senior corporate leaders each year. It offers an unforgettable night of connection, hospitality, and professional boxing—and, most importantly, the opportunity to support The Shaw’s campaign for real human connection.
Through theatre, creativity, and shared experiences, Shaw Festival brings people together across generations, backgrounds, and communities. Our vision is to make creativity accessible to everyone, and we are turning that vision into action. The Embedded Ensemble removes financial precarity for artists, giving them full-time employment to share their talents on stage and throughout the community.
A new two-year classical theatre program will develop the next generation of artists to excel here and beyond. The Burton Centre for Lifelong Creativity will educate, inspire, and connect people of all ages, including programs for seniors, youth, teachers, physicians, businesses, visitors, and local families. Our goal: to ensure every young person in Niagara experiences the Shaw Festival before finishing high school.
On April 23, 2026, we will celebrate the 39th anniversary of Shaw Boxing, which has already raised over $11 million in support of the Shaw Festival’s mission to bring people together.
